We’re so glad you are here! Here are answers to some of the main questions that we have received:
Who is the Banner PD Course for?
The Banner Player Development program is designed for middle and high school students who have a passion for sports and are eager to reach their potential in both athletics and life beyond sports.
We are committed to equipping middle and high school student-athletes with the tools they need to succeed both on and off the field, court, track, pool, etc. Through specialized training and support, we aim to foster leadership, character, and confidence that extend far beyond sports.
Is Banner made for student-athletes of all sports?
Absolutely! Banner Player Development was created to support student-athletes across all sports. We ensured that our course features a diverse range of athletes along with both male and female educators to provide insights from multiple viewpoints.
How long are the modules?
Each module (The course has 12 modules) is made up of 2-4 videos that vary between 10-20 minutes each in length. This adds up to around 6 hours of engaging content paired with intentional activities at the end of each module to ensure each athlete begins the process of applying what they have learned.
Do you do 1on1 coaching sessions?
Yes! You can apply to be a part of our Banner Inner Circle where a former college athlete would help mentor middle/high school athletes one on one!
My son/daughter has a deep desire to play sports in college, how will this program help them?
Absolutely! Our founder and several teachers in our program have played sports in college and beyond. They each have their own experiences and valuable advice to share. They help our Banner Student athletes understand what they need to focus on if they want to play sports at the college level.
As a parent, how involved should I be?
Parental involvement is a key component of Banner's mission.
Parents of high school athletes are encouraged to be involved in their child's development by allowing their child to complete the program while still being available to support them and answer any questions they may have about what they are learning and how it will affect their lives in everyday life.
For parents of middle school athletes, we encourage you to have a greater role in the course and the discussion activities of the program with your athlete.
I have other questions. Is there a way I can reach out to a member of the Banner staff?
I would love to hear from you and answer any questions that you may have.
